Review of Amarcord (1973) by Eric G — 10 Dec 2008
Fellini never ceases to amaze me. He always creates a completely different world out of the ordinary things that surround us and 'Amarcord' is perhaps the best testament to that. His sense of self-awareness is so acute that it allows him to laugh at not-so-trivial events of his life and invite us to laugh along.
It is a grand film and a treat to see on a big screen.
