Review of Amadeus (1984) by Andy C — 29 Jan 2012
As a film it's really fun to watch. As a fair, accurate portrayal of real life events. . .it is apparently not that. But I don't care, Tom Hulce's high-pitched laughing and F. Murray Abraham's silent rage may be just the figment of Peter Shaffer's imagination or something but it makes for a more interesting movie than a story about two guys who happened to be composers in Vienna at the same time who occasionally collaborated and got along most of the time and annoyed each other now and then.
