Review of Amadeus (1984) by Tyler S — 27 Feb 2012
Milos Forman creates THE perfect revenge and period dramas. He worked in the same opera house in Prague that Mozart performed in with candle lighting. You never feel shorted in any way. F. Murray Abraham and Tom Hulce are perfect.
The format of the film as a confession to a priest is a very appropriate translation from stage to film.
