Review of Amadeus (1984) by Beau D — 30 Sep 2012
I am always unsure about period pieces with anachronistic accents, and it is certainly odd to see the Emperor of Austria-Hungary played by Ferris Bueller's principal. The portrayal as Mozart as a genial buffoon works well, as does the intrigue and competition among the artists.
