Review of Amadeus (1984) by Jordan P — 25 Oct 2012
Vision. Sometimes can never be chaotic or it loses a lump sum of its audience. Milos Foreman has made a picture that is as brilliant as the Mozart himself. Never have I seen fun, splendor, elegance, anarchy, twists from comedy to nothingness with sheer eye candy blended together.
F. Murray Abraham gives one of the best performances ever recorded on film. Tom Hulce's laugh will be forever immortalized with this film and etched in your mind for days. I am sorry that it took me this long to warm up to see this film.
Even if you dislike opera or classical music it is a movie that like Amadeus himself, just blends the music so well with the acting you don't even seem to notice it but just seem get lost in it.
