Review of Amadeus (1984) by Andrew G — 12 Oct 2010
There are some films that are perfectly representative of the word perfection; and Amadeus is one of them. While I'm mildly familiar with Mozart's music, but not his history, but from what I've gathered, this is a fictional take on his life.
F Murray Abraham and Tom Hulce are incredible; each one not only delivers their lines perfectly, but the body language and everything that they don't do also serves purpose. The writing is flawless, and the set designs/costumes are perfect.
There's not a single flaw with Amadeus.
