Very good movie. This was a thrill even though it was filmed almost 30 years ago. Hurt is wonderful as the etherworldly-usurped, drug entranced scholar. Russell did a grand job to keep the focus on the plausibility of the sci-fi aspect and thr storyline does not slacken but keeps up, moves on and makes its mark! A fine walk into theory and the human mind.

But how far can we really get to know ourselves, our humanity, our separation from the rest of the animal kingdom? Our brain is immensely powerful, "mind" blowing, in too deep...Watch it!
