Review of Alphaville (1965) by Callum R — 07 May 2010
Alphaville: Godard's oddest genre ploy, but one which for the most part pulls off subtle sci-fi conventions well. As confusing as ever but Constantine and Karina put in the usual solid performances, which raise this above the average New Wave fair. Good.
Verdict: 79/100.
