Review of Alpha Dog (2006) by Olivia R — 06 Jun 2009
I was amazed by this movie. I have a lot of trouble seeing why it wasn't reviewed well. It's filled with brilliant performances from some of today's best young actors. Emile Hirsch, Anton Yelchin, Ben Foster, and Justin Timberlake are stand-outs, but there really is no weak link among these actors and actresses.
I never lost interest in the plot and the whole scenario stayed with me long after the ending credits, which I think makes this effort by Nick Cassavetes a success.
