An excellent ensemble cast compose a unsettling portrait of hedonism, amoral parenting and ruthless drug-dealing in upscale California culture. Its glossiness provides stark contrast with the seediness of the story.
Anton Yelchin, Ben Foster, Shawn Hatosy and, particularly, Justin Timberlake turn in fine performances.
