Review of Alpha and Omega (2010) by Joseph P — 10 Jan 2011
At first I believed it to be just like any other movie that I didn't bother seeing, and just for children. However I did in-fact enjoy this Animated movie.
The storyline was predictable although not exactly original they did know how to change some aspects of the storyline which was great. Although I admit some holes were in the movie however, but not really big enough to throw you off on what is going on. Animation was great, only reason for the bad reviews about animation is because they expect them to be up their with Pixar and such to "dazzle" them. I used to do some animating myself and it's harder then it seems, which is why I'm more open when it comes to visuals.
The reviewers complaining about the wolves "hair" and giving negative reviews due to such, is just an amateur and acting childish, the artists saw the characters fit to look as so for a reason.
The voice actors were quite amazing, as well as the characters given that the Alphas are the leaders, and hunters and Omegas Fun-loving peace keepers.
Making Kate and Humphrey have the personality as they were sought, but certainly change as they spend more time together in their adventure.
What was amazing was the "howling" It gave it that musical touch every movie needs and the composition of the music and how it was used was just perfect.
In fact some of the soundtracks were really deep, which is the whole point of music.
Overall this was a great movie, certainly for any age that enjoys animation.
