Review of Along Came Polly (2004) by Brent N — 18 Jun 2010
I don't watch this movie for Ben Stiller. He has his moments, like the bathroom scenes (at Jennifer Aniston's or with Alec Baldwin). I watch this for the limited doses of Philip Seymour Hoffman, Hank Azaria, and Baldwin. The Baldwin bathroom scene is brilliant. Hoffman should have been in every scene of the film, and Azaria is quite fun with his accent.
And Jennifer does a great job of making the audience fall in love with Polly. She reminds me that before Zooey Deschanel might have been Scarlett Johansson, but before both was Jennifer Aniston.
