Review of Aloha (2015) by Alex S — 05 Jun 2015

This film was a bit of a mismatch.. It had too many characters and things going on and didn't seem to want to focus on any of them... as the whole evil industrialist thing that Bill Murray was playing didn't get enough focus to work.

. neither did the Hawaiian supernatural stuff that never really paid off. I did really like the stuff with Rachel McAdams who had good chemistry with Bradley Cooper and her scenes sparkled... the same can not be said for Emma Stone, who is usually good, but here is just really annoying and I couldn't understand why Cooper would have any interest in her.

Mildly entertaining at times, but definitely Cameron Crowe's weakest feature to date.
