Review of All the Real Girls (2003) by Patrick B — 11 Aug 2008
One of the best romantic films of recent years, All the Real Girls captures perfectly the feeling of being young and in love. Some scenes in the film will leave you feeling as if you'd been kicked in the gut.
Zooey Deschanel and Paul Schneider give great performances (which were often improvised). The film never feels like it is quick witted or smarter than its characters, a flaw seen too often in films of this genre.
