The Big Lebowski (Coen, 1998) ***.

Believe it or not, this was my first viewing. Anyway, I felt that there were too many characters, and because of that, I couldn't follow the story well. Plus, while the film is funny, it isn't consistently funny. Despite the flaws, it's still good.

All The Real Girls (Green, 2003) **.

Bleh. I didn't like the acting by Paul Schneider, but Zooey Deschanel was good, although I found her to be annoying in a few parts. However I found the first 1/3 to be stupid, and I didn't connect with the characters until late in the movie. Also, I felt that the story was cliched. Nice cinematography and score, though.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Cuaron, 2004) ***1/2.

Better than the first two. I like its darker atmosphere, the visuals, and the score, and Gary Oldman is great as Sirius Black. However, I felt that there was a lot of stuff from the book that was cut out, and I didn't like the ending. To me, it just....ended. And I thought that the final shot was pretty bad.

Shrek 2 (Adamson, 2004) ***1/2.

Just as good as the first one. However, while it is funny, there were too many pop culture references (although those references were funny, I felt that there were too many of them), and there weren't a lot of laughs at the beginning, but it got funnier as it went along. And while Puss 'n Boots was hilarious, I felt like he should've been used more.
