Review of All the Real Girls (2003) by Steven G — 01 Jan 2010
Forget (500) Days of Summer. If you want a real, honest, and energetic look at young love and relationships check this David Gordon Green movie out. This is a beautiful and poetic film characteristic of Green's other work that centers around the relationship of two people who fall in love amidst the backdrop of a wonderful ensemble cast of characters in their lives and a small, pretty yet decaying town in the south.
Not only are we very much engaged and invested in the highs and lows Schneider and Deschanel's relationship, but also in the relationships with their characters around them who have small, but powerful moments.
Just a great, great film with honest emotion.
