Review of All the Pretty Horses (2000) by Ryan L — 10 Dec 2007
Cormac McCarthy's amazing book was destroyed by Billy Bob's failed attempt at adaptation. The only thing that makes this movie watchable is the parts that seem to be taken word for word from Cormac's pages.
A true disappointment that I hope another film maker will try to correct in the future, because this book really is amazing and the film was not. By the way, Matt Damon was a terrible casting decission.
John Grady Cole couldn't have been portrayed worse.
