Cormac McCarthy SUCKS, but this movie version of one of his shite books is surprisngly decent. Matt Damon is a versatile and under-rated actor (anyone squirming at this queer turn from the Talented Mr Ripley will appreciate this!).
Penelope Cruz is mere fluff though. Triumphant scenery!
