Review of All the Pretty Horses (2000) by Josh W — 30 Jun 2011
You would think with a novel of this literary caliber, excellent character development, and plot, it would be simple to create a wonderful story. Instead, Billy Bob Thornton found every way to sensationalize the plot, destroy the depth, breadth, and soul of the characters, and marginalize the thematic elements.
Avoid this film at all costs if you read the wonderful McCarthy novel!
