I can't figure out what we've got.

Two Washington Post reporters uncover a money laundering scheme the president uses to persuade key political figures to buy his way into office. The people who know how it works feels they are being watched closely and their lives and family are at risk. It will be near impossible to get anyone to talk, but the legendary deep throat gives them just enough information to talk to the right people follow the smoke to uncover the fire.

"When you handed out the money, how was it handled?".

"Badly.".

Alan Pakula, director of Klute, The Pelican's Brief, The Devil's Own, Orphans, Rollover, Sophie's Choice, The Parallax View, and Dream Lover, delivers All the President's Men. The storyline for this picture is very interesting and well told. The characters and situations are well portrayed and delivered. The cast delivers excellent performances and includes Dustin Hoffman, Robert Redford, Jack Warden, Ned Beatty, Hal Holbrook, and Martin Balsam.

"The police are nervous.".

I DVR'd this off cable not too long ago. This was a bit long but does a great job portraying the events of Water Gate. Overall, this isn't an epic masterpiece that belongs in your DVD collection, but is a substantial picture about American history that is a must see due to the historical significance. I recommend seeing this once.
