Great acting first and foremost. Dustin and RR are funny, goofy, and solid in their roles. There is also some great cinematic techniques as well. I liked how it holds off on the soundtrack so long until the suspenseful and very well lit scenes with Deep Throat arrive.
It is also great because it follows a very difficult story to tell accurately while retaining its entertaining qualities. The balance of keeping you interested and educating you about a very important historical time period is perfect.
Enough said. Go see it if you haven't. You'll laugh and probably learn something cool as well.
