This is a great movie to watch on the heels of "Nixon". It is long, but keep the coffee brewing and sit through it. You'll appreciate the differences between then and now -manual typewriters, rotary dial phones, and the way people treated each other.
It seems bizarre now that people would be so willing to give information or invite reporters in their homes at 10 PM. Also read up on it on wikipedia or something either during or afterwards -esp Deep Throat's identity and how he got his info.
