Review of All the Money in the World (2017) by Mike L — 27 Dec 2017
What was the focus of All the Money in the World supposed to be? Michelle Williams ( so underrated) is a desperate and somewhat perplexed mother dealing with her Ebenzezer-Scrooge-father-in-law J Paul Getty trying to gt her son's ransom money. After paying milllions and drooling over art work he won't pay the ransom because "where does it end?" What is the lesson? Money buys art work (it looked like the beginning of Citizen Kane) but the love of family or anyone (and did he even care?).
Interesting side note: did you know Christopher Plummer replaced Kevin Spacey after the movie was finished. It is hard to imagine Space instead of Plummer in the role of J Paul Getty.
