Review of All the King's Men (1949) by Nicole B — 25 Mar 2008
With all the talent behind this movie, it should have been a hit out of the park, but it is still a good movie. Zaiillian's somewhat muddled storytelling and a needles narration keep it from gelling togethere and being something special which it seems to be trying so hard to achieve.
But like I already said, it is still a good movie with great performances and a great score by James Horner. It is probably his best since Titanic because he didn't rip himself off again as he has been doning lately.
