Review of All Is Lost (2013) by Aragorn K — 03 Jan 2016
Pretty powerful movie that makes you think about what you would do if you completely ran out of hope of survival. It's certainly a unique movie in that there is only one character and only a few lines of dialogue.
I think I would have liked to have known who Redford's character was and why he was out on this boat, just to give some context to what I was watching. It took me a while to get into, and some parts looked distractingly bad (like he was obviously shooting on a green screen).
But it's an interesting film and one worth watching.
