Review of All Eyez on Me (2017) by Smack C — 15 Jun 2017
No fault to the actors but this movie does not reveal who Tupac was. The acting was great and whoever did Snoop sounded identical to him. Anyone who has seen an interview or read tabloids could have written this movie the way it was.
No doubt he is the greatest and was murdered while on top, but this movie lacks the interpersonal reasonings behind his decisions and actions of his career. Spoiler alert....it doesn't touch his and Dre's, Snoop's, or any other death row artists' relationship.
Scratches the surface his and Jada's. Zero on any co-starring actors in any of his films. Doesn't explain why he moved into acting. In fact, there is hardly anything that talks about his acting career.
Was his time at death row solely spent in the studio? How about the makings of his videos other than just a voiced over scene. What were his thoughts and reasons in his life. They touch on a few but I could've watched his jail interview too and created the first hour of this movie.
