Review of All Eyez on Me (2017) by Reel Life R — 15 Jun 2017

I really wanted to like this movie.. But as I expected, it's not easy to really capture the brilliance and yet utter confusion in Pac's head. Those of us who were really into the rap game back then remember and loved Pac and we were confused by him.

I wish as much effort had been put into this movie as Notorious or Straight out of Compton. It fell so flat. Younger audiences, who didn't really live through the brilliance and turmoil of Pac's career, will probably love the movie because of it's concert material and because.

..let's face it... because of the "poor Pac" aroma of the movie. Great performance by Shipp, and I mean OUTSTANDING, but the writing just sucked. More could have and should have been done to immortalized someone who did so much by the time he was 25.
