Review of All About Steve (2009) by William M — 17 Sep 2010
In all honesty, I enjoyed this movie and got its sense of humour. Although Sandra Bullock won the Razzie for this role, I gotta say, it was still funny and I thought she played well. Although you have to admit, she's not playing dumb roles as the character of Mary is quite intelligent, as she is a crossword puzzle maker and that's definitely a hard job. But going against Mary is that she is like a social misfit that has a case of verbal diarrhea. She doesn't know when to shut up and that's kinda funny in parts too.
As for the rest of the cast, they are a good group I'd say and they blend well together for the comedy. And getting to see Howard Hesseman again in a movie, damn. Johnny Fever is alive. :).
All in all, the movie does have its good points and can provide you with a good amount of laughs if you get the humour. Other than that, if you do get to see it, I hope you can enjoy it like I did. ;).
