All About Steve is really just a wasted opportunity. I wouldn't go as far as to say that it's one of the worst movies ever, but it definitely is a bad movie. This film however does feature a great cast.
However, even films with an all-star cast can still suck if the characters aren't interesting or likable. That's one of the film's biggest problems. As much as I love Sandra Bullock, her character was annoying and unlikable.
Plus, I agree with those who say that you're more likely to feel sorry for her as opposed to actually root for her. Of course, the script isn't that good either. It doesn't help that the lame humor ruins the film more than anything.
A couple of funny moments but nothing really hilarious. Overall, I didn't hate it enough to write it off completely, but it still is a bad movie that I can live without ever seeing again.
