Review of All About Eve (1950) by Sole M — 09 Sep 2008
Joseph L. Mankiewicz at his best as a film director. Mankiewicz was arguable a quite remarkable screenplay writer. However, his achievements on directing were rather irregular and less-talented. Nevertheless, All about Eve is a true Masterpiece, and his directing work in this title is brilliant.
A must-see for anyone who really apreciates good movies and sees film-making as an art.
