Best Picture 1950. Bette Davis is fabulous in this film. The ending is great I think. The inevitable truth that the spotlight tends to lie on the beautifully young is explored. Also friendship, betrayal and vanity.
Anne Baxter is also excellent in the picture. 14 Oscar nominations tied for most with Titantic.
