Review of Aliens (1986) by Arend R — 06 Sep 2013
They turned sic-fi horror into sic-fi action. Only Cameron could pull this off. And boy did he. It's amazing. He changed the style of the first one without ruining it's appeal. I prefer the first one but they are still both masterpieces, making this monster the most terrifying, iconic beast in movie history.
That said: HR Giger doesn't get the recognition he deserves for creating this alien in the first place.
