Review of Aliens (1986) by Rod E — 29 Jun 2014
A true gem of a sequel, Aliens is a great example of one that could be better than its predecessor. I'm always more of a fan as you need a part one to obviously get to a part two. One of the things that I always dug about Aliens is how Ripley is totally alone and has to deal what took her crew out in the first as the corporation plays bureaucratic games.
Here James Cameron doesn't try to mimic Alien at all and gives one hell of a battle with Marines versus the aliens. Awesome effects, terror, action, acting, and characters, Aliens is a classic sci-fi action horror jam.
