This film is pure proof that sequels can be just a masterpiece as the first film was! What makes a brilliant sequel?.One that uses the same concept, that follows the same storyline but uses a completey different way of interpreting the film.
For "Aliens" the same concept would be the concept of Alien lifeforms that reproduce and place a threat to mankind itself.The same story would be Ellen Ripley defending mankind once again against its greatest enemy.
The different interpretation would be that theres more Aliens and more action.The first is a full on Sci-fi Horror whilst the second is a full on Sci-fi War film, with some absolutely brilliant action!.
If you miss this one you will be missing one of the greatest films of all time!,and yes this one is just as good than the original!
