An excellent sequel that changes the feel of the first and adds more adrenaline to the mix. The horror and suspense isn't the same in this as the first film. The marines along with Ripley make for a good match up against a Queen Alien and her thriving hive.
Soon the marines find the hive is much more populated then they expected and survival becomes more unlikely. The film has great alien design by Stan Winston and the aliens in this film are far more impressive looking.
This film is excellent and one of the rare sequels that can stand on its own as well as be a god addition to an excellent original film. This film gets a 10 out of 10.
