Review of Aliens (1986) by Bob M — 06 May 2017

This is again one of my favorite movies, directed by James Cameron my favorite action director right below Mel Gibson Aliens is very different from the first Alien again one of my favorite movies, Cameron takes a very different route, instead of a suspenseful thriller that leaves you shacking they replace it with white knuckle action, which was a good call, I don't see Cameron doing suspense like Ridley Scott, it doesn't seem right, this movie has a different tone but it still has some suspenseful scenes there just smaller then the first one, this is a Hollywood sequel done right, all the acting si great especially Sigourney Weaver who gives a better performance in this one because they flesh her character out more, this film focuses on the character more then the aliens and I kind of love that, that is what a good film is, the effects are the ways to get to the good film but good characters is what keeps it going, this is one of the best action movies of all time, one of the best sequels of all time, and I love it, if I wanted to choose which one was better I would say Alien, even though this one is watchable as hell like the Social Network, the last one was a perfect film, this one is perfect to but the first is just a nudge over.
