Review of Aliens (1986) by Eugene A — 31 May 2017

James Cameron's Aliens (1986) is one of the greatest movie sequels of all time that is a direct follow-up to an already fantastic movie (that movie being Ridley Scott's Alien back in 1979). This movie goes into a more action oriented route, but it's executed wonderfully thanks to James Cameron's fantastic directing and writing.

The music by James Horner is absolutely amazing and fits the tone of this film very well. The acting from everyone is also really good, and that's thanks to James Cameron doing a good job directing this movie.

I will say that I highly recommend the Special Edition of this movie because it contains a lot of scenes that never made it into the theatrical version (and that's what makes this movie even better in my opinion).

So in conclusion, Aliens (1986) is an awesome movie sequel, and just an overall awesome movie period. Before I forget to mention, the special effects in this movie provided by Stan Winston are really fantastic, and still hold up to this day.
