Relentless sequel that unlike other follow ups lives up to the first and improves. Sequels require the essentials and must build a story worthy of the time. This film is from James Cameron and the imagination is amazing.
Just watched this again at the local cinema Nov 2016 and this holds up against most of the new mainstream franchises. Alien was great but this sequel takes everything about that film and builds one of the greatest action films ever made.
They say cinema is dying but watching this film you quickly understand why that statement is true. This is very quality filmmaking, sure Cameron had a miserable time making this but the film speaks for itself.
The comic book genre is essentially killing the chances of these great sequels, the next Alien film really needs to up the game again. Support old films at the cinema it's unique and the films are so much better compared to what we have now.
