Review of Alien³ (1992) by Bfoore90 — 28 Dec 2020
This is a fairly controversial and much maligned entry in the franchise. Im going to post ratings for BOTH the theatrical version AND the assembly cut. The Theatrical version is a tough watch, its not as bad as people say it is.
Sigourney Weaver is fantastic and so is Charles Dutton and it presents alot of interesting ideas such as grief, loss, redemption and sacrifice despite the characters being unlikable. Its a middle of the road sequel that lacks narrative focus, suspense even thought it did some nice things to make it appear not bad.
Its easily the most forgettable of the franchise.
