Review of Alien³ (1992) by Magical W — 10 Jul 2016
To quote YourMovieSucks, if a horror movie doesn't scare you, what else does it offer? In this case, it's not a whole lot. There are some cool sets and the performances are fine, but in terms of a story or scares I wasn't getting much.
I could maybe see why people were scared of this movie, but because I wasn't I was forced to look at more than just that aspect. I can commend this movie for the opening. The opening is good. But after that point it just barely rises above mediocrity by the actors and sets.
The story isn't terribly predictable, but it's not very strong either. Overall, it's ok. It's not anything I would write home about, but it's not something I'll refuse to watch.
