Review of Alien Resurrection (1997) by Bradley W — 15 Apr 2012
Alien Resurrection is a major improvement over Alien 3, which lacked suspense and the magic of the first two. This did not live up to the first two either, but it had thrilling and scary moments, a decent storyline, and fixed everything Alien 3 lacked.
The effects and action were really fun and I liked how they brought back the iconic Ellen Ripley (it wouldn't be an Alien film without her. Ridley Scott and James Cameron started of this series with two of the most epic films of all time, and Jean-Pierre Jeunet has ended it on a steady and good note, even if it could have been much better.
