Review of Alien Resurrection (1997) by Elian D — 21 Jun 2012
One of the coolest movie of the 90s hands down. Again, utter genius directing thanks to visionary Jean-Pierre Jeunet! It's all fun action and dark humor which is welcome after the depression-fest of Alien3.
And the whole thing looks sweeet. It's like taking Jeunet's masterpiece "City of Lost Children" and mixing it up with Alien & Aliens. I adore it. Ahead of its time. (But only a couple of years.
Alien & Aliens were both 10 years or more ahead.) True cinematic art piece packed with horror action! Sounds like an Alien movie to me.
