While the film employs stunning visuals, a fine cast, and gritty violence, this addition to the franchise lacks the suspense which made Ridley Scott's original "Alien" so throat-gripping.
The scenes, especially the iconic nods, felt rushed. A tip for the next continuation: give us a new taste. We love the facehugging, but let us gobble up a fresh suprise next time.
