Review of Alien: Covenant (2017) by Glasso — 18 May 2017
Unfortunately this movie fails to create any real tension or suspense. The movie starts off well enough but soon after landing on the planet and the first alien appearance at the landing craft it goes downhill.
It just seems like a rehash of prior Alien movies without the thrills - rather just a monster-fest-by-numbers. At least Prometheus dared to offer some new elements.
