Review of Alien: Covenant (2017) by Sanchopancho — 18 May 2017
Another bloated film by Ridley Scott. Oh how I miss his early streamlined work. There's no clear focus to the story. He tries to tackle so much that we ultimately don't care about the protagonists. Where's the tension, the suspense, the surprise, the shock? Seems to me Ridley is just going thru the motions and cashing in on the franchise like so much of Hollywood these days.
