Review of Alien: Covenant (2017) by Holamrreyes — 21 May 2017
I'm giving this movie a score of 1. Although well-crafted, "Alien: Covenant" chickens out of the question raised by "Prometheus," and that is, "Who are the Engineers and if they created us, why did they want to destroy us?" Director Ridley Scott and company appear to have been stumped by their own questions.
Instead of using their imagination to craft an answer, they opted for a more cowardly approach and resorted to formula by cannnibalizing the high points of the previous "Alien" movies.
