Review of Alien: Covenant (2017) by Jonathan H — 07 Aug 2017

This was not the sequel I was hoping for but nevertheless, it exceeded my expectations. I wanted a true Prometheus sequel, and many people told me if I liked Prometheus more than Alien I would like the first half of the movie.

And the other way around if I like Alien more. But, I like both equally. Is it so hard for people to understand I am not split between Prometheus and the original Alien series? I ended up loving this movie.

I only had one. Single. Problem. No Shaw. It would have been much better to see at least 20 minutes of david and her in even a montage. That's the reason this movie is not five star. I also wish they did not put the unnecessary nudity in this movie.

It didn't need it, and was kinda a dumb scene in my opinion. Everything else was great and Fassbender was fantastic.
