Review of Alien: Covenant (2017) by Bilbo B — 26 May 2017

Hate to say it, but this is easily the worst movie of the franchise. Basically, this movie never takes a chance, it's just a repeat of all the original ideas that made the other movies great. If you're like me, you'll know what's going to happen before it happens and then you'll be disappointed.

It also closes some of the potential story lines the writers could have gone with after Prometheus in unsatisfying ways. Only saving grace is the special effects were on point.
