Review of Alien: Covenant (2017) by James T — 28 May 2017
Some good some bad, all in all if your a fan of the franchise you'll appreciate a lot of the elements within the film. I felt there was some potential left on the table the movie was never able to fully capitalize on.
Compared to Prometheus this movie was slightly worse. The intelligence of the crew is my biggest complaint. I know it's a horror movie, but I mean these people couldn't do one thing right, which really took me out of the film.
(Spoiler) Wayland's involvement in the extinction of the Engineers was a bad idea. Great Score, Tone and Cinematography, which is honestly all the franchise has become.
