Review of Alien: Covenant (2017) by Jor E — 22 May 2017
Worth the money to see on a big screen. There was lots of action and good CGI. If you haven't already seen it, I'd recommend watching Prometheus before you see this movie. The franchise is taking a heavy nod from Star Wars in their prequel/sequel layout and this movie takes place a handful of years from where Prometheus leaves off.
It was pretty predictable after the midway point, especially if you're familiar with the story, and the characters made some questionable (If not a bit ridiculous) judgement calls throughout, (hence only 4 stars), but overall I didn't leave disappointed.
